OSS Foundation 2019 | 1 – 5 July | St. Hugh’s College, Oxford
The Foundation School is an immersive learning experience for trainee managers, department managers (both in-store and head office functions) and store managers.
It’s a mix of inspiration and challenge from leading names in the retail sector, tutorials from sector experts, facilitated group work, team projects, self-reflection and action planning.
It’s an opportunity for retail professionals to get to know themselves and their ways of working so they can better serve their businesses.
Our focus for the programme is to develop the vital skills retail managers need to successfully lead a team, build their confidence as leaders and help them to understand the positive impact they can have on their business.
What’s new for 2019?
Despite scoring 99% for delegate satisfaction in 2018, like the retail industry, the Foundation Programme continues to evolve. We have built on the successes of previous years and developed new content to reflect current sector opportunities and challenges.
Delegates on the 8th edition of the Foundation programme will be stretched more than ever:
- We have deepened our work with Clarity 4D personality profiling to help delegates focus on strengths and potential ‘blind spots’ within their leading and communication
- retailTRUST have become our wellbeing partners. As part of this we have introduced a meaningful exploration of wellbeing in the workplace
- As retail evolves faster than ever before we have increased our focus on the need for adaptability and managing change
- We have created new projects to encourage delegates to think differently about the future of retail
I look forward to welcoming your delegates to the Foundation programme 1st – 5th July 2019. Should you require any further information on the above please contact Terry Lees, Head of Residential Programmes on 0121 446 66 88 / 07595 928 721 / firstname.lastname@example.org.
