Wellbeing is a critical factor in both the performance of a team and the health of individuals. When a person feels valued, trusted, safe and has a sense of belonging they can be their best self and do their best work.
This year we have partnered with retailTRUST to ensure that delegates of the Foundation and Academy, the retail leaders of the future, understand the importance of both physical and mental wellbeing and the importance of resilience in a modern workplace.
Our goal is to support delegates in understanding how they can identify the signs, lead great wellbeing conversations and discover how to lead a positive people culture.
Our Wellbeing Partner - retailTRUST
Established over 187 years ago, retailTRUST has a long and successful history, specialising as the trade charity to support the wellbeing of the 4.5 million people working in retail and the supporting service industries.
Today, they provide emotional, physical, vocational and financial wellbeing support to over 150 national and 10,000 independent retailers who together employ over 1,000,000 colleagues.
retailTRUST has recently launched myrtwellbeing.org.uk, a brand new website to transform how individuals take proactive control of their wellbeing. The site is designed to support retail employees through different career stages and life events by providing a tailored experience that meets the needs of the individual.
